THE SECRET OF GIVING

This is a dedication page for eight very special people in Reba's life.

In Loving memory of:

Kirk Cappello

Joey Cigainero

Jim Hammon

Chris Austin

Tony Saputo

Paula Kaye Evans

Terry Jackson

Michael Thomas

These very special band members were helping Reba raise money for the building of the first Reba's Ranch House from 1987 until the terrible plane crash in 1991.  There is a dedication walkway that runs between the Ranch House and the Texoma Medical Center. In the middle of this walkway, there is a plaque which reads for "My Broken Heart" and lists the names of all the band members .

THEY WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

Photo above Susy Wills left the organization in December 1990, Joe Mcglohon was on the other plane. Not pictured are Jim Hammon and Chris Austin.

A friend of Kirk Cappello's Remembers

I met Kirk in 1984 when he was with Barbara Mandrell and her band the Do-Rites. I met him at a concert in Cincinnati, Ohio. His talent was awesome because it was a gift from God!! I was a very big fan of Kirk's. Our friendship grew and one thing that I will never forget is what Kirk told me."I thank you for not only being a fan, but a friend". Through the years we became good/special friends. It was a friendship that I will always treasure!! What a precious person he was. There's not a day goes by that he's not thought about!!  I love him and miss him so much!! I have also become good friends with Kirk's  parent's who are my out-of-town parent's. They too are special!!

A friend of Paula Kaye Evans

Paula Kaye Evans was my friend and we worked together in Las Vegas in a crazy show. Paula was just a darling little spit fire with a voice bigger than her body. We had more fun..the last picture I have of her is her eating with her mouth open lauging her head off. She was bright and vibrant and a super talent. I treated her like a little sister because that is how I felt about her. We had so much fun working together. This Ranch House is a wonderful ministry to families.
